Got a bad rash for 2 weeks now. Went to see a skin doctor the day before and was diagnosed ezcema. Gave me loads of lotions and medicine... which i think can last me for 6 months... lucky it is all free because im in national service... so the government will pay for me! haha..

Anyway my replacement is already here. i have moved to a comfy place to do my work.. a place that i can sleep anytime and music the whole day. thats is life man. I have not been doing much work now cause most of it have been pushed to my replacement. So basically i will be gng to office to do nothing except surfing and sleeping... same goes to my other friends who are gng to ord soon.

Im not sure how many toy collectors out there in deviant art but im proud to say that im a toy fanatic. been buying alot of toys lately too.. due to a toy sale recently in my country. now i have run out of space to display. Im now thinking of getting a huge display cabinet soon to display all my stuff... and the vicious of buying and keeping will start agn. but i will still continue to buy though haha

oh well getting sleepy agn. time to sleep at work agn!

As I observed in Singapore, many people are always rushing. Time is their enemy. Every where there is time or a timer that remind you how late you are and how much time you have.

Example: There is a timer by the traffic light to indicate how much time you have to cross the road. By the 10th second you will see many people trying to break the 100m record by dashing across the road before the red man appears.

There is also timer that indicates how long before the next train in out MRT (mass rapid transit) station. By the 1 min mark, scores of people will be ramming through the gates and the two storey escalators just to be in time for the arrival for the train. Just to note in peak hours, the next train will arrive in 2-3mins time.

That is what puzzles me about Singapore context of time. Is everything such a rush? By waiting for another 3mins for the next train, how much can one lose?

Going to work is a rush, but going home is an even bigger rush. Straight on the dot, at 1800hrs in the town area, the streets will be jam packed with cars rushing to go home. I was not caught in this jam but rather waiting for my jammed bus to come. A distance of a 100m to the bus stop will require 45mins for the bus to reach the bus stop. That is how bad the jam was.

When the bus finally reached the bus stop, people will be flooding on to the lane to be the 1st to enter the bus. People will crowd the doors and fighting to get a chance to be the no. 1.

It makes me wonder when Singaporeans will learn to take it slow and easy. I am sure in the job there is even a bigger rush to get things done but in the end the Boss only require 10 % of the work you have done. On top of that they will tell you it is not important or urgent and ask you to go home. Then you have realized that you have been working late for nothing.

I guess that is how Singapore work life context works. Rush rush rush…. Work.. Rush rush rush home and the vicious cycle continues….

Bad week bad week. This week is a hell week for me.. everything is gng wrong. People does not give me the documents in time... get scolded by people... have to act very apolgetically although it is not my fault... have to beg people to help.. kana fly aeroplane by people in the last minute...got shoot by arrows by legolas-like people  ..   

I am really really sick of working here  ... guess all these stuff going on is a signal for me to take a long break or clear my leave....but i will endure on..   as i rather clear my leave one shot and wont be coming back here anymore...   Damn you.. damn you.. like what Stewie will say.

Since i was so stressed out this week. I went on a toy haul.. buying toys after toys after toys.. chalking up to 90 bucks of toys this week... oh well. At least im happy..   

Im still pondering whether to take a day leave next monday... but i guess i will save it for later use..I WANT TO ORD!!! AND LEAVE THIS GODDAMN PLACE!!!!

Damn someone really spoils my whole day... or practically my whole week or worst until i ord.
was very excited to go out to buy my new controller for my new PC so that i can play my games.

Suddenly while in the mist of sending email. receive a call for that PERSON. Started off by saying that I have no professionalism. Asking a high ranking staff to do menial work like putting up a JP(justification paper) and he will show his middle finger to me if i were to ask him in the face.( Mind you I have no experience in handling procument stuff.)

He further state that he holds high regards for people of my rank but at the same time instead of providing help, he further said that he is expect more from me. I dont even know he full name and he wants so much more from me...

Stating what he needs must be done quickly and immediately. I almost wanted to say that the world does not revolve around you. People does not wait upon your bloody feet to help you do your stuff. If you want to do stuff fast, get it done yourself. It save all the middleman reporting and long processing time. Or maybe you get your mummy to help you wear your clothes ya...

A high ranking person doesnt have to right to degrade a person at all no matter how high or almighty you are. Unless you are my parents. That reaffirmed my decision never to join any government service job anymore.

Something to add that PERSON is going to join my department soon. I can forsee more trouble and conflicts the moment he steps into the office. Luckily for me, im leaving the goddamn place soon. Good luck to all my colleagues and friends here... Working with the PERSON is not going to be an enjoyable process....

And the actual fact that im only a freaking serving National Service makes it worst. Perhaps until I officially ORD, I am going to face off with him agn.

Waiting waiting for my time to get out of National Service and try out something new... Hoping to work in the zoo as i slowly and painfully build up my long lost skill of 3d modelling and actionscripting.....

Anyway 3 more months to freedom and 3 more weeks to my new arrival of PC. Time to start on my portfolio agn after 2 years of inactivity... Cant wait to start work...
Need to remind myself that i need a new glass cabinet for my marvel legends collections... and i need a big one...

So i will play the waiting game ........ hope i can wait until then with out getting mad.. haha..
